Road to professionalism

My long term goal is to become a professional genealogist.  I am planning on taking the NGS home study course and hopefully can order the first part next week.

Currently, I am reading Professional Genealogy and am just about finished with chapter 1.  I have looked into doing the ProGen course but as of right now think I'll wait until I finish the NGS program.

  1. I'm also interested in becoming a professional or at least doing something with the genealogy besides just my own family research.

Best wishes on the course, looking forward to your thoughts on it.

  3. Welcome to the Geneabloggers family. Hope you find the association fruitful; I sure do. I have found it most stimulating, especially some of the Daily Themes.

May you keep sharing your ancestor stories!
